Harambee 2009 begins in earnest.

We arrived on Monday to a huge welcome in Londiani. The excitement was fantastic, and we were all felt immediately at home.

Project gear was unpacked, and sorted and initial introductions with task leaders were held.

Tuesday dawned bright and early with all tasks begining in earnest on both sites.

In Londiani, the team was split between the water project in Kahura, building the dormitory in Bethel Home, and preparing for Peer Education Lifeskills training due to start on Wednesday.

In Benditai more peer education preparation was ongoing, and the team begin the water project surveys in the local community.

All tasks have now begun!

HARAMBEE 2009 HAS TRULY BEGUN!!
